This is a pattern welded gyuto, the steels used are 1095/15n20. The pattern used for this knife is a forged feather pattern. The end result is an organic and beautiful feather pattern that shows the nice veining from ripping the feather. This knife has a convex grind with an S hollow above the convexed edge. The grind on this knife is a bit lighter with a deeper hollow than normal. I would classify this one as a near laser.

The main piece of the handle is Whitefish figured Huon Pine which was gifted to me from a knifemaker in Australia. The ferrule of the handle is African Blackwood.
