This is a pattern welded gyuto, the steels used are 1095/15n20. The pattern used for this knife is a forged feather pattern. The end result is an organic and beautiful feather pattern that shows the nice veining from ripping the feather. This knife has a convex grind and is quite light and fast. This is a perfect prep knife.

The main piece of the handle is Yellow Cedar Burl that was gifted to me from a close friend in Canada. The ferrule of the handle is Ancient Redgum from Australia, I believe it is a couple thousand years old. The handle on this knife is a right-handed D shaped handle.
