This knife was forged from a shop made billet of stainless cladding over 1.2519 tool steel. There is a thin layer of pure nickel between the stainless and the high carbon core which helps mitigate carbon migration. This knife has forged taper as well as forged geometry. The knife has been convex ground with a rotary platen. The handle of this knife is a piece of carbon dated 5,000 year old bog oak. The ferrule of the knife is aerospace carbon fiber. The spacers are nickel silver and black g10.
