The steel used for this knife is 154CM. I have done quite a bit of testing on the steel and have heat treated it to 63/64 HRC. 154CM is a fine grained stainless steel with enough carbon that lets it take and retain a nice edge. The handle of this knife is composed of top quality Thuya burl and an African Blackwood ferrule.

This knife has a full convex grind and would be considered a workhorse. The knife has a satin finish.
