This knife was made from Damasteel, Super Dense Twist pattern. Damasteel is a stainless damascus that is made from two excellent steels (RWL34/PMC27). The steel is very tough and also fine grained which allows it to take a very keen edge. This steel is stainless and will not tarnish. You may see some fading in the pattern over time due to the abrasiveness of the food that is cut but overall there will be no tarnishing. This steel has been heat treated to 63/64HRC. This knife has a complex S-grind. The handle of this knife is composed of golden amboyna burl, yellow mammoth tooth, and aerospace grade carbon fiber. The ferrule is aerospace grade carbon fiber and the spacer is yellow dyed ancient mammoth tooth. If you have any questions feel free to shoot me an email.
