This is a pattern welded gyuto, the steels used are 1095/15n20. The pattern used for this knife is a forged feather pattern. This knife was forged to be a full tang. The end result is an organic and beautiful feather pattern that shows the nice veining from ripping the feather. This knife has a compound S-grind which is my midweight grind.

The handle on this knife is fossil mammoth ivory scales. The scales have been heirloom fit and the tang fully etched. The scales are attached with 2 domed and polished pins.
