This is a 235mm pattern welded sujihiki, the steels used are 1095/15n20. The pattern used for this knife is an intricate mosaic that was made to mimic snakeskin. It’s got an organic flow but overall shows a nice repetitive pattern. This knife has a convex grind. The handle of this knife is composed of ancient bog oak from Europe and a ferrule made from water buffalo horn that has a cream colored streak through it. The average HRC of this knife is 62/63.
