This knife was forged from 80CRV2 and pure nickel. It was forged to 370 layers before pushing in the ladder pattern. This billet and knife were mostly forged on my 100 year old Star Foundry power hammer. This blade is 3/32 with a nice thin grind, an excellent cutter. The handle is fossil mammoth ivory with deep crackle and craters. I believe these scales to be very solid and free of toxic lines. The pins are domed and polished bronze. The knife also has an heirloom fit to allow for a fully etched steel blade.
