This knife was forged from old iron, it has some character in the cladding but not anything like the wrought iron I usually use. This knife was lightly etched and polished with a loose abrasive. This knife also has a very thick ricasso that tapers hard the rest of the blade. This knife has an oval/round handle that is made from nice Arizona ironwood. I would consider this knife a workhorse grind. This is a big knife with some heft but is thin where it counts.
