225x48 Cocobolo Wrought

$575.00

This knife was forged from wrought iron san mai that was made in my shop. The core steel is 1.2519 german tungsten tool steel which is similar to blue#2. The wrought iron was reclaimed from an antique wagon wheel. You can see how the wrought iron etches so differently from one side to the other due to the extreme differences within its own composition. This knife has a slight convex grind but is otherwise ground like my other wide bevel knives. The handle of this knife is cocbolo and the ferrule of this handle is African Blackwood.
