This knife was forged from wrought iron san mai that was made in my shop. The core steel is 1.2519 German tungsten tool steel which is similar to blue#2. The wrought iron was reclaimed from a large chain link that came from a shipyard in California. This wrought iron is extremely dirty. This knife has a slight convex grind. The handle of this knife is composed of exhibition grade Thuya burl and it has an African Blackwood ferrule.
